Below is a list of our Game Ball winners this season. Game ball is awarded to the player or players that display great effort, sportsmanship and improved play on the field.
Game 1 - Logan Bittner and Logan Lee for their defensive efforts and sportsmanship.
Game 2 - Alex Halliday for his defensive plays at second base and giving his best the whole game.
Game 3 - Peyton Snyder Her stop on the ball at second base, and coming up to bat and conquering her fear.
Game 4 - Miles Jones defensive effort at 1st base and offensive display.
Game 5 - Logan Bittner is awarded his 2nd Game Ball for overall outstanding game effort.
Game 6 - Kyle Livengood for his hustle all game. Never giving up and running full steam ahead around the bases.
Game 7 - CJ Owens for this defense at 2nd base and total game effort vs. the Reds.
Game 8- Austin "AJ" Haden for his watchful eye during the game and total effort the entire game.
Game 9 – Alexis Adams for her consistent effort all year and trying her best at every game. Also, Alex Halliday was awarded his second game ball of the season for sparking a rally in the second inning by making the first out in the inning by tagging third base after a great defensive stop on the ball.
Game 10- Isaiah Watts for his great effort all game and year. He has greatly improved on his batting and base running.
Game 11 – Game balls were awarded to Owen Gee and Max Genthner-Brown. For Max, he has emerged from his hitting slump and possibly put an end to his bat throwing habit. For Owen, he showed much improvement in his hitting and great courage staying in the game after taking a line drive hit in his left arm while holding his ground on the pitcher mound.
Game 12 – No game ball given out.
Game 13 – Alex Halliday for staying in the game and still giving it a great effort after take a ball to the chin while at catcher.
Game 14 – Game balls for everyone. The best team effort all year, and it really showed in our 3rd win of the season.
