Recap of Sunday, July 11th
Let me first start off by saying of how proud we are of the way the boys played their hearts out & represented our league like true champions in this sanctioned Little League tournament.
We started off the day with a 1pm game against Anderson Co. All Stars. We took an early lead but let them back in it by the 5th inning. Saturday, July 10th Recap
With a 3 Hour delay, Western 8/U took to the field at 1:30pm in Richmond against Anderson Co. Select team.
Our bats came on strong & our defense worked even harder. We unfortunately experienced an injury prior to the game which required us to pull Colton Thomas from the roster and place our alternate player, O'Marion Young in Colton's absence.
